The bright side
of life

the bright side of life

14 January 2026

Too much information can lead to your demise and that is most certainly the case when it comes to philosophy and simulation theory. It’s easy to get pulled into the dark side of the force but here’s a take on why that’s not a smart idea.

First of all, happy new year to the readers of this blog. It sure is shaping up to be a year of extreme change. The more information that is released, the more the veil thins. That is the nature of the AI-driven age we live in.

I had noticed that the deeper I go down the rabbit hole, sometimes the darker it can become. But then I thought of a film that I loved growing up, ‘The Life of Brian’. One of the film’s main catchphrases, which is actually a song, is ‘always look on the bright side of life’. It’s such a funny film, a simple but friendly guy constantly seeing the bright side, despite being crucified.

I am going to share a video from Jordan Crowder at the bottom of this post because this guy is becoming increasingly influential in the esoteric space and is constantly keeps things light and positive. I think his 35-minute long episode titled ‘Is Earth a Prison Planet?’ pretty much reflects most people’s journey into the information abyss when it comes to these themes. Hopefully most, like Jordan, will see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Jordan’s video does a really good job at explaining the path from ground zero. When you become more awake and aware, you usually take an interest in things like Gnosticism and even more fringe material by the likes of David Icke. I think we all pretty much know reality is a simulation and some kind of training space. Perhaps, like many psychonauts believe, it’s one simulation stack after the next. The initial path can seem fairly dark and hopeless. Films like the Matrix kind of reinforce that point. The fact we are here and conscious though is in itself amazing. Reality still feels real to us and it is. Jordan really magnifies the positives, despite the adversity we face, which is likely by design anyway. If life was easy, it wouldn’t be a place where souls are sent to evolve, as Michael Singer always says.

While the interface of reality may have been hijacked and the original purpose of the ‘game’ somewhat compromised, something discussed in the material of Castaneda too, if Earth is a soul school, then it definitely gives us a lot of opportunities to grow. Souls who get an education here tend to be respected on the other side. Earth life is the soul’s training ground. I genuinely believe that theory to have credibility. NDE experiences, as Jordan mentions, are wholly positive.

Anyway, enough said for now, just watch the video!
