The danger of rabbit holes

5 April 2026
In case you haven’t noticed, in today’s information age there is always a rabbit hole you can find yourself lost in. The problem then, though, is clawing yourself back out. What’s the solution?
As it’s Easter, seems appropriate to talk rabbits. The world has never been as rich in information as it is today. When people talk about the veil thinning, I think what they mean to say is that truth is getting closer. I am not talking elaborate conspiracy theories, although there’s many of them out there, but more in terms of the very nature of reality. This is why more people are waking up. They are waking up to the fact that society has largely been built on lies and disinformation.
Many of us are so absorbed by the internet that our attention is constantly scattered. There’s almost no barrier to entry on any topic. You can find out anything you want if you know how to use the array of tools at our disposal, especially AI. The issue though is recognizing the price. And I’m not talking about money. Attention is our most valuable resource. It’s a conscious direction of energy.
I am sure you have all heard about the Dead Internet Theory. I will post an interesting video about that below from the Why Files. It’s a phenomenon that suggests that most online content is machine generated. It’s a whole separate conversation, but my take for the purpose of this article is can it be trusted? There are so many rabbit holes out there and so much discord around them. Learning what I’ve learned about things like loosh harvesting, it’s clear to me that most information out there is designed to evoke an energetic response. It’s all engineered to get a reaction. Take the narrative around Aliens or UAPs. Or even space. There are doubters about both. Experts claim the truth about ETs is indigestible to humans. Others claim NASA is fake and there is no such thing as space travel. The issue, really, is that none of those claims are easy to prove or disprove. That uncertainty creates a space where fear is born. This then creates a feeding frenzy for whatever entity feeds on this energy. That’s why it’s so important to take even important issues with a pinch of salt. Even governments are saying the most weird and ridiculous things on social media which tells you, their desperation for your attention has never been higher.
I’m not endorsing the atrocities that are happening the world. I’m just saying, you have to learn to remain detached to them as best as you can. One of Singer‘s best phrases that applies to so many things in life, “if it ain’t happenin’ on the outside, it ain’t happenin’ on the inside”. What I mean by that in this context, these issues, despite how important they may seem, aren’t causing problems in your immediate personal environment. Not to say they aren’t real. But they shouldn’t be having an impact on your internal state of being and affecting your energy.
The internet has created a perfect playground for ego. Intellectuals get to flex and seek validation, stopping at nothing to prove they’re right. People are increasingly confused and misled by these so-called leaders. It is becoming increasingly difficult to determine real from fake, particularly with the increasing influence of AI and deepfakes. The result is people are no longer living in alignment. We are losing our true connection to each other. Everything is at our fingertips but something is always missing, it all feels empty. Why then do we keep buying into the allure of tech and progress?
At some point it is wise to take some personal accountability. The internet and technology are tremendous resources when used in moderation. The same goes for the mind. It is a razor sharp tool when used properly. The problem, as always, is ego and the personal mind. We are using these tools for self-service, not necessarily for the greater good of mankind. By learning to manage energy, cultivate discipline and detach from the stories we are told, we can fall into alignment and get closer to finding personal enlightenment. That is not a selfish pursuit. It’s the complete opposite. From there, you can go out into the world as be the best version of yourself and live to serve others. Energy is your most important resource so don’t waste it!
